The cabinet meeting has urged Taliban to announce ceasefire without preconditions.

ISLAMABAD Federal Cabinet gave approval to National Policy of Internal Security at its meeting on Tuesday.The meeting presided by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif called upon Taliban to renounce terror activities without any preconditions.
Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan will announce the policy in the National Assembly on Wednesday.The Federal Cabinet meeting decided that Abdul Qadir Baloch would be focal person on the issue Internally displaced persons (IDPs).
It was also decided in the meeting that Abdul Qadir Baloch would be in regular contact with Federal Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan in this regard.Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would also attend the National Assembly session tomorrow (Wednesday).Meanwhile, the meeting discussed important matters including law and order situation in the country.
